Israel Set Up a Hotline Prepares for April 7 Anonymous Attack

Many Israelis have reported a virus being spread via Facebook, days before a major cyber offensive is expected to be launched on Israel by several Anonymous hacker groups.

Israel Internet Association (ISOC) is preparing to mitigate the effect of the attacks on ordinary citizens.International Business Times reports.

Some hackers have disrupted the site of the Israel Securities Authority and leaked a file containing data that has allegedly been stolen from the organization. Other attacked websites include the ones of the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Human Resources.

The list of targets has been published by Anonymous a few days ago and it includes most Israeli government websites and the ones of some high-profile organizations with ties to the government. (Israeli Active .il domains:240,292)

The Israel Internet Association  has set up a hotline where people can contact them in case they experience problems.
