Subject: Internship Digital Forensic

At this moment I'm in the first year of my training at the [School name] in [Location]. As part of this study I look for a suitable internship for 3 days a week for the period from February 1 through July 1, 2010. This internship, I would like to perform at your company. Your company seems a well-organized organization where I can learn a lot and i would like to work.

Given my study I prefer to IT security role within your company but a different task in your business is also good. The point is that during the internship I can deal with digital investigations. I am thinking of examining network traffic, initiate investigations and report the collected data.

I have a positive, flexible and customer oriented attitude and I have good communication skills.I'm also a person who thinks team and independently to perform to the fullest. I think I will be a good asset to your business. You can rest assured that I will be fully committed to end the internship as a success.

For my personal details I refer you to the attached Curriculum Vitae. I hope that this letter and my resume will give you enough reason to invite me for an interview.

Awaiting your response and kind regards,

I always leave my phone number in the C.V.

But of course you can leave your phone number at the end of the internship letter.
